Sir John’s Will is Even Small, Mine Will Blow The Mind Of Ghanaians – Kennedy Agyapong

Hon Kennedy Agyapong who remains the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has said that Ghanaians should swallow their bitter pill about late Sir John’s Will because his will be mind-blowing.

According to him, politicos in the NDC are behind the criticism about the will and he has warned the NPP to stop passing comments and responding to criticisms.

In his assertion, the properties captured in the Will are peanuts as compared to what will be contained in his asset declaration.

“Whatever NDC is setting as an agenda, it will come to haunt us. Sometimes there are no truth in it and so we have to be careful with Sir John’s issue of six plots. Me, when I declare my assets you would be shocked because when I was reading Sir John’s will I said but this is peanut,” he said.

He expressed worry over what the reactions of Ghanaians will be if he eventually puts in the public domain a declaration of his assets.

“I put myself in the person’s shoes that if am dead today, is this what is going to happen even within my own party? So we have to be careful,” he added.

Going To IMF Is Like Handing Over Power To NDC – Ken Agyapong

Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has expressed utmost disappointment in his government, for deciding to go back to International Monetary Fund (IMF) for a financial bailout.

According to him, the decision will make it difficult for the NPP to break the 8. They have given the power to the NDC without contesting.

During the NDC era, Hon. Agyapong criticised the government for running to IMF for financial support. He said any party or government that goes to IMF for support has failed. Now his party is after IMF for financial support. He doesn’t know what to say again.

“It is just like handing over power to NDC without a contest, straight away because of the noise we made, and I chew my own words back when I said the NDC went to IMF because of mismanagement of the economy. So if NPP is going to IMF, what am I going to say? So breaking the eight is going to be tough.

“My message to you is simple, you cannot read my lips and I am not scared of anybody in the party, I will tell you the gospel truth, those who take you to IMF cannot break the eight,” he stated this at an ongoing NPP National Constituency Officers Welfare Workshop at Koforidua in Eastern Region on Friday.
